Why choose High Five Paws?
Throughout my years of experience in the rehabilitation and veterinary industry, I’ve had the pleasure of working with countless unique dog personalities. From the big to the small, the boisterous to the shy, and the go-getters to the laid-back couch potatoes. This is where my understanding of dog behaviour and training became truly essential, complemented by ongoing studies to enhance these skills.

Dog Rehabilitation
I believe that forming a bond with the dog is crucial to get them to perform at their peak, and communication is key to achieve this goal. Just like in human physiotherapy, exercises are a crucial part of a dog’s rehabilitation. I focus strongly on exercise-based recovery, working closely with owners to guide them through the process and provide advice on how to help their dog perform the necessary exercises. When done correctly, this approach not only aids in recovery but also strengthens the bond between the dog and its owner.
Disabled Doggy Daycare
I also offer a unique service in WA called “Disabled Doggy Daycare.” This idea came about while working in surgical referral, where I saw many owners struggling to care for their dogs after major IVDD surgery. Unfortunately, with IVDD, surgery is just the beginning of a long recovery process. Many owners feel overwhelmed and stressed as they navigate the challenges of caring for their dog, ensuring their comfort, and helping them regain strength and mobility.
The daycare program is specifically tailored for dogs recovering from IVDD surgery or undergoing conservative management of IVDD.
Dog Massage
Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a massage!
Just like us, dogs benefit from a little pampering to relax, ease pain, and improve their mobility. I offer professional massage therapy for dogs, which can help reduce stress, alleviate muscle tension, and improve circulation. It’s a great way to show your dog some extra love, whether they’re a senior, an active pup, or just in need of a little extra TLC. Schedule a session to see how your dog responds.
